Through the Anatolian Maker Movement, we aim to educate their students in the rural areas of Turkey in accordance with the current era. Without the mention of electric cars, rockets, and machines using Artificial Intelligence to diagnose disease and treat patients, the concept of innovation is entirely foreign to the young. Moving beyond the curriculum which lacks the experiment-based education to improve critical thinking, analytical competencies, creativity, and innovation, and empowering students to be the next builders of the future is our main goal.
With the aim of teaching the principles and philosophy of STEM, we take action to enhance student’s adaptation to the advancing technology. We organize social innovation projects to primary schools in the rural areas of Turkey to give STEM education and teach “Scratch” coding.
With all our experiences, we come to understand that we am beyond the members of the Central Anatolian community, but our role is to break the socio-cultural boundaries imposed upon this settings and take strategic steps towards communal, innovative and groundbreaking growth in order to shatter glass ceilings on a global scale.
